- GPS Metadata (longitude, latitude, date, accuracy, direction)

Pros and cons of Exif & IPTC Metadata Browser app for iPhone and iPad

Exif & IPTC Metadata Browser app good for

This App. Does exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for Making it free. But Apple should include such a Funktion in their own Picture Viewer. But up till then I will be a happy user of your App. For all the people complaining about the GPS warning. Its Not the fault of the author that Reading Photo coordinates produces this iOS warning. Please read authors hints.
Exactly what was said below! Be nice to be able to copy and paste fields too!
Perfect for being a free app. Add editing of exit to get 6 stars :)

Some bad moments

It does show EXIF but no IPTC in a very basic and not userfriendly way. PhotosInfo does a much better Job in this regard and for the same price.
Interesting app but you cant much with it. No copy and paste, no export or editing metadata Also, the GPS doesnt work, I checked my photos with Koredoko and they DO have GPS data. Meta Browser just doesnt display it.
I love the idea if this app. This feature should have been built into I iPhone. Its off to a good start but there are many problems. Mainly it doesnt work most of the time, one min Ill be looking at the metadata and the next it cant find any photos on my camera roll.
Pretty much adds a feature that the Iphone doesnt have. I got tires of having to upload my photos to see the date I took them so I searched and found this app. It gets the job done!!! Kind of weird that the iphone will tell you the GPS location of your photo but not the date it was taken. This app even tells you info of pictures sent to you (date, time, Resolution....). Overall: it is a helpful FREE app. Hopefully the next iphone upgrade will have this feature built in. :-/
This app REQUIRES access to your GPS location data but there are no functions in the program that use it. Why is this app collecting my location data? Im always careful abbout who gets my personal information and any app that asks for more data than it needs from me raises a red flag. I wanted something to easily look at the size of the pics I have stored on my phone. This app is mediocre at best, doesnt work much of the time and requires you to give up your location information. Not worth it.
Im pretty sure its not possible to retrieve GPS data from photos on your iPhone, the iPhone SDK does not allow it.
